Firstly, the weather. Yes, ok, this is a pretty obvious topic when talking about England but MY GOD it has been warm recently. Normally I am fine with it but the sudden heat is a killer. And then the sudden rain. Why can't the weather just make up its mind and be one thing or the other? Why it decides to be both at the same time is beyond me. Apparently we are to blame Spain but that seems pretty harsh...
In other news gay marriage has been legalised in New York! This is something that does not affect me personally seeing as I am English but in my opinion this is a great step towards the future and a more open-minded world. I am a firm believer that people should be allowed the freedom to do whatever they wish and that the vast majority of society's older rules are no longer valid in today's society (murder and treason obviously not included XD).
One thing that I am enjoying at the moment is Dollhouse. I am not referring to the toy of course but a TV show. This show stars Eliza Dushku (Faith in Buffy) as "Echo" the main doll in the dollhouse. It is a gripping drama/sci-fi show which I am sure many of you will enjoy if you enjoy sci-fi. It is set in this era for the most part although it flashes forwards and backwards, this is more noticeable in the first episode. The show its self is written by Eliza Dushku and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy). There are 26 episodes overall including the un-aired pilot. In my opinion it is a shame that the series did not continue because towards the end it seems rather rushed and as if they had planned it for far more seasons than just the two that it received. Yes, this is a cancelled show but that in no way means that it is a bad show.
Just one more topic for this entry. SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR IS GOING TO COMIC-CON!! It really makes me wish I could go to meet her but unfortunately I am here in England. D: Of course she is there for her new project Ringer.
I hope you enjoyed this entry, if you have any queries or comments please feel free to leave a comment in the comment section below.
Peace out,
